Thrush welded are good too

But yeah, if it doesn't have race gas breath or scream like a redhead, it needs mufflers

The thrush welded are very inexpensive, and not as loud as flowmasters. But they are not quiet

They sound good. After that, all of them seem to cost a lot more

I don't like obnoxious exhaust, so mufflers would be on my list if it were my rig. But I wouldn't let them keep me from a wheeling trip if the rest of the truck was ready. :deal:

They won't keep me from wheeling. I'll probably be able to find something around the shop for super cheap.

I want the V20 to be mostly quiet with a good tone. It's so gutless anyways, no point in making all that noise.

This is why I took the flows off last year and put on some larger dynomax mufflers. Still has a rumble but it's not nearly as loud and eliminated the cab drone.

If you don't find anything up there, you can rob the exhaust off my short box. Just goes from the headers back to some cherry bombs. I'd think it'd still work fine for your truck.

Ok, it is too loud to wheel. It's ridiculously loud with open long tubes.

Took longer than expected, but that's how it goes. They kind of fit like shit compared to the Hookers I had on the K10. Glad I got them for free cause I don't think I'd buy a set of Headmans now.

They hang down really low pointing straight at the crossmember, making it difficult to make exhaust now.

And the passengers colletor is about 1/4" from the shackle...

I'd flip that lower shackle bolt around.

Weld in an O2 bung?
