Honestly, using it the same way as his existing tbi350 he's going to have more fun. I think on highway performance will be better than the 350. Either engine is humping hard to push 40's around with 4.10's at highway speeds for sure, but off road with the 465 it will be just fine.

Wanted to go play in the deep snow but my front driveshaft/cross member said otherwise. Sounds like it’s going to come through the floor with any load on the engine. Does anyone make a decent aftermarket cross member or am I looking at building one?
Problem is the shaft hits the cross member, I’m guessing from the lift. I have replaced the bushing and put washers under the trans to lift it up, but no luck.

When's the next Tuttle trip?

Good question. I want to try the new tires/locker/hydro. Not sure if it will be pre or post LS swap at this point. Truck also needs a lot of little things, but in all reality could go wheeling tomorrow how it is.

I haven’t decided if I’m gonna make the trip down or not. I’ve never been, is it worth going.

Yeah I have zero motivation in this cold crap. I need a heated shop!
I feel that. I’ve got a Christmas bonus, Pto bonus, and commission bonus worth of truck parts in the garage right now going nowhere fast. Next time we get a couple of 50/60 days I might take some pto to install.

Oh I don’t know. Lots of people including Marty usually make the trip to Lincoln for it. I usually buy a few random truck parts.
