I used some trim paint on a perfect, original dash pad and it cracked shortly after. So I would be careful about going that route with a dash pad.

Sounds like a plan!The last trip really did a number on it. I need sliders really bad. Rockers and bed sides got hurt. I want a nicer body and then want to build some sliders for it.

The only probably I had running no overloads was on a blazer with 56s. It was a little squirrelly going around turns with a welded rear. But it just felt like driving a trophy truck everywhere.

Agreed. I would contemplate taking out one or two of the middle leafs first. Or get rid of the ez inch (that is if you don't have it setup with a 1" or 1.5" offset)
