You can buy trim paint from LMC that works really well. Obviously it wouldn't work on the little carpet sections on the lower door panel, but anything that is plastic it will work. I used that trim paint on the interior of my crew cab when I changed it all from white to blue. Works great!

I used some trim paint on a perfect, original dash pad and it cracked shortly after. So I would be careful about going that route with a dash pad.

Yeah, don't use it on a dash at all (just either get a dash pad/cover or replacement dash), but on the trim it works great!

It is but it has a lot of driveline issues. I’ve been playing with the K5 a lot and this doesn’t take priority right now. That and I hated seeing $3k in new wheels and tires just baking in the sun everyday. It’s better for it to sit in a garage than in the sun. Still keeping my eye out for a clean body to swap.

At least it’s not for sale...

I thought that body was pretty clean for a Nebraska wheeling truck!

The last trip really did a number on it. I need sliders really bad. Rockers and bed sides got hurt. I want a nicer body and then want to build some sliders for it.

I want to lower the rear a little bit to get rid of the rake. Already cut the shackles down. Would the springs be too soft if I take out the overload?

The only probably I had running no overloads was on a blazer with 56s. It was a little squirrelly going around turns with a welded rear. But it just felt like driving a trophy truck everywhere.
I didn’t feel like it was too soft.

The overloads minimize the negative arching too.

Agreed. I would contemplate taking out one or two of the middle leafs first. Or get rid of the ez inch (that is if you don't have it setup with a 1" or 1.5" offset)

It has 56s. It already feels really soft and leans a lot from the 52s up front. After driving it I can’t believe how much smoother it rides than the blazer lol.

I can’t take out the ez inch cause that’s how I center the axle in the wheel well.
