89-ish K5 build. Beat cancer!!! Time for icecream!

3 Link front, leafs in the rear, 2.5" ADS Racing Shocks!
There are many good guides to harness thinning, I used the pinouts and diagrams from LT1swap.com. I got rid of EVAP, Low OIL sensor, low coolant sensor, AC HI/LO sensor, AC clutch, passenger and driver bank 2 O2 and probably one other I am forgetting. I unpinned and pulled through. If I were to snip and pull through the harness thinning could have gone quicker. This was my first harness thin so I wanted to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. Some people just snip the connector off and leave it. I wanted a nice clean look.
Did you leave the 4low signal wire in?

yes it’s still on the pcm side. I will run it inside with the odb2 wires and a micro switch on the shifter

Very good and a over looked item. You wouldn't happen to have a wire you pulled out that matches the same color with a pin laying around would you?

So did you get the little plugs to put in place of the wire so the connector won't leak stuff into the ECU?

I bet the "right parts" cost pennies at digikey if you can find the part number and they are easy to remove if you need to use that pin again. Sealants are not going to stick to the factory seals very well so it would be more robust too.

Yah I’ll try to get those on order.

Sometimes if you look really close at the connectors (might even need a magnifying glass) you can find tiny little numbers that help you find the parts that interchange with that manufacturer's connector series.

When I did mine, I just went to the junkyard and pulled plugs out of a bunch of different wiring harness. They are used in all sorts of stuff. easy to find. Just remember next time you need to go.

I do need to go... I wanted to make a bench flashing harness anyways.

Did you remove the factory plugs from the ecm side? I'm confused on whats wrong with those.

Heck ya, that’s good progress. I can’t wait to see how this does with ls power, it deserves it!
