89 K5 ls power on tons

Managed to get the radio and speakers installed before I left out for work. Little kicker 3.5s scream!! Had a random memphis audio 6.5 laying around that I threw in the center spot for now. Sounds great for the amount of money I have in it, loud and clear. Think im going to use nut serts and mount the 6.5 boxes to the side in the back. Transmission pan is leaking like crazy, even with a new gasket..... I'm over automatics

Aftermarket pan?

So got the trans gasket swapped out while I was home and the new one stopped the leak. Now it looks like the new rear main I put in it is leaking.... Drove it around as much as I could while I was home, still can't get over how well it drives for an old leaf sprung chevy. Gas mileage was pretty horrible but pretty sure that has to do with my heavy foot. Started working on the body work, plan for now is to just repaint the bottom half and hood. Tried rolling on some flat black but that was a no go, gonna try to spray it with my brothers harbor freight gun when I get back home.

Well had some flooding in my area and spent a lot of time trying to help out those who weren't as fortunate as me during this time. After a rough week of gutting house and helping people move I was able to work on the blazer yesterday. Got the new trans crossmember finished up and ready to install tomorrow. Hopefully I can't get the rearend back out and everything welded up this week.

Do you have a picture of this crossmember installed?

Not offhand, but I'll try to remember to grab some when I get back home from work in a couple weeks.

So after alot of debating and reading on here, I decided to pick up some rustoleum from lowes and just roll paint on the bottom half of the truck. Came out really good IMO on the bottom, not so good on the hood. Just ordered some monstaliner to do the interior when I get back home, not looking forward to the prep work at all.

Thanks guys, it's coming along slowly.. Hopefully I can start on the bedliner prep next week.

Haven't had a chance to finish the bedliner on the front have because it's been raining every day since I got home. I did make a trip to pull a part and grabbed some seats and another spare np241. Swapped out the window regulators for manual ones, test fit one of the cavilier seats and mounted the center console today. Now I just need the rain to hold off a few days so I can finish the bedliner.

Got the front half of the bedliner finished the other day. Had a severe case of MAW, both front and rear needed pinion seals. So I ordered full bearing/seal kits for both, 5.38s, and a spartan for the front. Finished up the rear today by myself, but think I'm going to get my buddy to help me with the front next week. Spartan came in today still waiting on the bearing kit.
