I don't think so. I don't plan to clock it flat. I was playing around with it a little on the jack yesterday because I can tilt it. My original thought was to put the bottom of the NP205 at the same place as the bottom of the 4l80e pan (bearing in mind it's the extra capacity pan). After thinking about it more, the trans pan is far forward from the breakover point. The tcase is still forward of the breakover, but closer. So I think I will clock it so it is about 1" higher than the bottom of the 4l80e pan.
My buddy Nick wanted to clock the NP205 in his K30. We decided to skip it because the taller frame means the bottom of the tcase was only hanging about 3/4" below the frame. So with my plan above, I should end up just above the bottom of the frame - I think. I was going to try and figure out the clocking before install, but I'm thinking I'll just have to do it in the truck.
