I literally get yelled at at home for FB arguments with strangers I have never met. And I know, I took some pictures of it the other day. I need to get some paint to finish that. Relays to do windows and take the 80e apart for the shift shaft that's broken. Money is always tight this time of year and I spent a summer of "needed" home things.

I sadly miss out on the arguments until they're over then i stumble across them. Between you, Brian, and Martin it never fails to disappoint

You seem to have a flair for getting stuck in mudholes as big as that rig is? I'm guess no locker or just choosing the worst part to drive through?

Locked front and rear in every picture. It's had a locker since the body swap. I'm 90% sure it was all locked on the 80 body too. And really it's just finding the spot that "nobody" can make and either making it or not. Lol.

Really need to update my membership somehow to share pics. Got the aluminum doubler plate cut down to match the 203 so nothing hangs below the frame rails. Drilling the 203 for the round pattern 80e adapter. Had to TIG weld a spot on the 203 because one bolt ended up unreasonably close to the edge. Should be done and hopefully back together today. Need to source a 80e shifter linkage because when it was removed someone snapped the stud off. Going to try and source a higher stall 80e converter. Need to decide on if I want to switch my harness with an 80e one or use Transdapts modulated shifter idea for full manual. Any thoughts?

You're listed as a premium member now! I've no thoughts on how to run the 4L80 but I'll be watching nonetheless!

Got the 203 drilled. Could only get 5 out of the 6 bolts with this setup. We couldn't drill the TIG weld. Ruined carbide bits and all sorts of goodies. MIG welding it would probably be a softer weld and overall easier to do but it is what it is. The bolts aren't structural so much as a gasket retainer of sorts so as long as the 5 stay tight should be fine. We shall see. I imagine with a Ford 203 and 205 instead of my GM 203 Ford 205 combo you could get all 6. Clocking it different would have accomplished this as well but everything else was already drilled. O well. May pick up the shift shaft for the 80e tomorrow if time permits.

Just noticed this gem today. My friends have also tracked progress. Then noticed my daughter wrote her name on my hood in the years of dust, keeping her own track. Got to love kids.

Here is the blazer for some added pics. It's a 97 with a cammed 5.3 shoehorned in it with a 60e and a 233 with a fixed front output. 14sf and a 44hp. 4.10s and about to be welded in the rear and an Isuzu Dana 44 LSD in the front. Has 56in rear Dodge Durango springs up front with a few extra leaves and stock s10 springs out back still. 14in RS9000 in front and 12in RS7000 in the back. Massive flex for what it is. It's a DD, got 6k miles of no problems. Can't complain for a 3800$ project including plates and insurance.

I have a few spare moments on this glorious day to update this. I picked up a 14ff the other day for the 4.10 carrier. 5.38s are only sold in thick sets, so of course the thin busted 5.13 gear set and it's perfectly functional carrier won't work. Nice. So I digress. I get all excited to get to work, open it up and am surprised by this. Santa struck again.

Got the 4.10s out of the HP60 today. Traded them for the paint and clear to finish the driverside of the truck. Couldn't locate a 4.10 carrier for the 14ff this weekend though.

Well I dropped my phone in the toilet and lost every recent picture I have taken. So you will have to take my word on a few things. 4L80E internals are heavy. The Transgo manual shift kit is much more extensive than the instructions suggest. But anyways it looks great with a modulator in it. The plan is to get the 80 Non E, plus the finished 203/205 in tomorrow and Saturday. I got the 14ff back together with the new 5.38s. The front 60 carrier is welded with the 5.38s on but it's not installed yet. Hopefully most of this can be done and the drivetrain will be hanging by a ratchet strap so the cross member can be fabbed.

Edit. And the paint and clear is totally finished. If the weekend goes real well I may roll it out and buff it to see what it looks like in the sun.

Doubler in. Looks like my tranny hump I accidentally butchered is going to get worse. Figures. Trying to get it flat on the bottom of the frame without cutting into the cab for the 205. The body lift does help this and I personally enjoy the shiz out of my 3in for the accessibility and ease of all sorts of stuff.

Not super happy with that. So going to bash the floor up further. But I got tired, these bring the suck to install alone.
