91 K5 -Procrastination Build - bikini top!

@Wes Harden im running 5.86’s. With the 43’s it was equivalent to a 31’s and 4.10’s, I’m guessing it’ll be like a swap to 4.56’s.

HAD moved to a new location and is supposed to be back to business as usual. I’m not really mad at him, just anxious.

I’m struggling here. I’m going to make a tire change because I’m making a wheel change. I figured when I buy tires I might go down to a 40-ish because, while I LOVE the big tires, I just don’t need a tire that big.

I borrowed some 39.5 TSL’s from a friend to test fit, my first impression 2 weeks ago was that they looked awkward. They seem a tad small and they make the cut wheel openings look over the top.

All that said, I pulled it out again today and it’s growing on me. What say CK5? Would it look goofy? (strictly looking at it as is, I have no interest in changing or fixing the wheel openings)

I have the front fender liner out for work which I think is exaggerating the look.

Skip leg day much?

I think it looks fine. Mine is the same way. It has room for more but I don't want taller due to gearing and my weak 6.2L and also I have room to fully flex at the current size. If I go bigger it would probably rub.

Thanks. Going to a 40" tire will help, I love the 43's but they rubbed the rear of the front fender liners and the firewall rib pretty good.

I don't think the wheel openings look bad. If anything, it just looks like it has a tall lift.

I really appreciate everyone's feedback. I've pulled the trigger on a set of 39.5 Boggers and will be heading to Louisiana Friday to pick them up.

It'll probably be towards the end of the month before I can add any picture updates but hopefully I'll have the tires / wheels on and the rear driveshaft back in.

Next on the list is paint.
