Lol, yeah i don't know how to delete a post from tapatalk on my phone
So last weekend i smoked the bottom end of my 5.7L tbi motor trying to keep up with mrk5
So let the fun begin with putting a 5.3 in. I picked up a 2001 with 136k miles on it. I'm keeping my nv4500 and 241/205 doubler. I think I'm sending my harness into voodoo injection out of Boise. It is who Eric and Norby suggested. Any suggestions on the swap or anything else is appreciated. Let the fun begin.... Oh and I'm headed to easter jeep on April 16th

Nice didn't see that, sounds like a sweet deal. My buddy did a 5.3 swap into a s10 blazer. I bet you have tons more room then he did with a full bodied street machine.
Yes room is not a problem! It's amazing to me that this motor stock puts out 20-25hp more than my partially built 5.7tbi. With a tune I should be around 320, so around 40hp more on a completely stock motor. Im excited!
Just think if you could put about 1500 more into it with cam and heads.

Would be fun! With a cam and tune I can to around 350 pretty easy from what I've read.

640820 & 640830 that thread onto the tbi lines
640820 x2 to connect the other two fittings together, - 6 female to - 6 female

6637 air filter, same as I run on my 7.3 pwrstroke, had one on the shelf. It has a 4" id inlet, 8.5" diameter and is 12" long
After hours of research online this is the parts list I've come up with. Only other stuff I will be doing is sending the computer and harness off next week and buying an oil pressure and water temp gauges.
