Mine has sat for three years unlocked with the keys in the cupholder. However, it smokes so badly that if the crook managed somehow to get it running, I'd call the cops and tell them to be on the lookout for a blue and white Blazer smoking like a chimney
I don't worry in this town, I went on vacation once and left the window down and the radio in it. My Yukon I lock no matter what and have a magnet on my keychain that connects to a switch in the steering column that kills the fuel pump if not put in the right spot. So you have to have MY keys to make it run, and no crook will figure that one out.
