Its easy to do live for idle and loading the converter a little in the driveway by yourself, but you definitely need a driver to live tune while moving. However, most of the time the self learning does pretty good there anyway, and often even at idle, etc.

First minor issue. Was driving around for a while today and it was constantly in the 20’s for learning. Get home and parked it and it’s idling at a 1000rpm and still in the mid teens learning. Didn’t see any obvious vac leaks. Gonna take a look at the logs and then let it cool and see what’s up. Was doing some reading on the Holley forums and got some things to check.

I’ve learned over the years with my Megasquirt, once it’s running good turn learning off. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

Holley says the same thing. I transferred the learn to base and am gonna drive it tomorrow and see how it runs and if all is well I’ll shut it off.
Keep an eye on the closed loop comp it will tell you how far the tune is off.

If something is wrong I don't suggest you transfer learning to base, its a lot easier to just copy (to save) and delete the learn table in the area something is wrong to see if it is learning based on wrong data first. If it doesn't like it paste it back in or undo.

You can also tune live by highlighting the area its running bad in, holding it there, holding "CTRL" while using the up and down arrows to add or subtract fuel to see what it likes.

However, idle is separate, you need to check where your IAC is at, and possibly move your idle screw and to move your IAC and then reteach the TPS. You may have ot do it more than once, as if you do something it likes, you may have to move the idle screw again.

It’s not running bad at all. It’s running fantastic actually. This high idle thing is the first time the truck has done anything weird. I’ve got several different tune revisions saved so if I don’t like what it’s done then I can easily go back a rev and adjust my approach.

The prodash has a fuel gauge in it and can also see all of the Holley stuff and data log in it.

Actually I think it’s the pump. I can hear it but 20gal of gas and it has zero pressure.

So I was cruising along at 60 and suddenly the motor coughed and AFR’s were at 35. Got to a parking spot and endured a significant amount of heckling from my family and a buddy who was passing by for running out of gas. Wife brings me 10gal. I get it fired up but it’s running like shit and the fuel pressure gauge is reading zero.

Make it to the gas station a quarter mile away and leave it idling while I add another 10gal. It died and now it won’t fire. I had a log going but forgot to hit stop log before I turned it off and tried to crank it again.

I’ve got 20gal of gas in it. I can hear. The pump running but it won’t fire. The gauge will barely lift off of 0psi. I’m going to crack a line tomorrow and see if there’s much coming out but I’m not keeping my hopes up.

A $1000 dash seems a bit overkill for a gas gauge haha.

The irritating part about this is I’ve got a sensor sitting on my work bench for a fuel pressure sensor. I’ve just been avoiding it because it’s been hot and the rzr has been taking up the garage space.

I agree, is it possible the short line between the pump and the tank supply came off?

Anything is possible at this point. I remember fighting that line because it was tight but who knows.

Plus side is I now have a reason to cut a fuel pump access hole so that’ll be fun.

It will do more then that!
