They were diverted to Cheyenne with that big midwest storm and I still haven't seen them, My bender is making another batch while we wait for the first........I do not have luck with Wyoming in the winter. Somehow it dosen't make sense to divert a truck going farther south to the north durring a blizzard? Last year I had 3000lbs with Fedex Freight and the truck was diverted to Wyoming, 10 days later Fedex went looking for their truck, the driver went to a truck stop, had dinner and then a heart attack, it took Fedex 10 days to discover it was missing. But, overall I like Wyoming.....

:haha:

I know, it just seemed wrong.....

I hope he wasn't moving one of my crates when it happened. But I prefer Jackson Hole rather than Cheyenne......

Just got mine. great product. two VERY minor complaints. first, 1 of the holes which is tapped for the caliper pins seems to have been tapped twice (a couple of threads are cut funny). totally usable, no concern, just had to point it out. I tried to get a picture, that aint happening with my camera. 2nd, I opened the envelope and promptly got covered in steel dust & oil. I can understand a light coating of oil to prevent rusting, but it seemed as if the pieces went straight from the tapping station into the envelope without so much as a shake to clean off machining 'mess'.

Again, 2 really minor points to an awesome product, which got to hawaii for a great price and in a short amount of time.

Thats not good, sounds like the guy running the tapper asleep at the wheel.....

About the dust.......well, we don't tumble them to clean them because it add's a few percent to the total cost and we try and do everything possible to keep the cost down, however we do try and wipe everything down before packing. BTW, I would be happy to replace that one if you wish. Let me know.

Nothing needs replaced. I ran a bolt into the threads, cleaned up the couple of spots just fine, no force. It might have just been shavings stuck in the threads. As for the dirty, I wasn't expecting surgical cleaning by far, but there was some amount of steel dust in the envelope. I'm not unhappy by any stretch, just thought you'd like to know what a consumer thought =)

If you haven't yet received them I will resend them.....

Tracking number?

USPS tracking is lacking, pretty much lacking everything......It only works if it reaches your Zip code and was sent registered, registered costs' $3 more, however, USPS pays insurance quickly. I will resend your 2 pair.

We could use UPS or FEDEX but the cost to ship is much higher and delivery is slower and not on Saturdays also. USPS Flat Rate boxes and envelopes are 3 day priority.

Do I understand correctly that the items shipped on or around the 16th and are lost in the mail? If the insurance will cover it, great. BUT, if not, I do not feel it is fair that you cover the complete cost. Let me know about that.

IF the first batch shows up after the second, or vise versa, I will let you know as soon as it happens.

Thank you, Josh

It is not a worry....

We insure all packages at or above $100 in value for $100, 2 pair of brackets are $100 ($90 with the discount) but it dosen't quite cost us that much to make them:wink1: so on something like these we actually profit a little! But when they lose a box with 2 diff covers in it we lose a little:doah: but they balance out in the end and they don't lose as many as UPS does.

I am waiting for a little more feedback on the d70's....

They are being used but my insurance company wants a little paperwork from me......bastards!

When I first approached them they didn't understand just what I made so the 14 bolt brackets, the Toyota, & the weld on brackets slipped by, from now on they are being pretty demanding......
