sorry, the old A with the weird cowl with vents and stuff, if you were building a period correct for the 80's show truck itd be perfect however lol

i like cowl hoods, but just classic style. go with basic cowl or stock

Gotcha! thanks for the input!

Thoughts on tires?
My super swamper iroks are messed up so I need new tires.
I want something that looks aggressive but does good on the street. I only go off-road a couple times a year.

I'm looking at the pitbull tires or nitto mud grappler or maybe the cooper MY.

What's the best agressinve looking 37" tire you have run?
Anyone have experience with the nitto mud grappler?

Nitto and Toyo work well. I'd like to hear about the Cooper cause I've never used them.
IIRC the Toyo sidewall is a little softer than the Nitto. This is when I had some mounted on a CCLB Dmax 4x4. Little less sidewall deflection with the Nittos. But that was a heavy ass truck, not so much a problem with a Blazer.

I would like to run the 40" Nittos on the blazer once my 40" Toyos are done. Problem is, I only really run what I can find on CList LOL So if I find some more toyos or whatever in 40s, I run em. :D

to add about noise from your other post
yes, the Nittos are louder than the Toyos
not terribly loud, but like you said, you probably can't hear than anyway

I wonder if I'd notice the weight difference. I found a brand new set of toyo mt for 1200.00 37x13.50r17
My swamper iroks are a 37x12.50r17

You should be ok. I'd just stay away from them if you had a Jeep or something light weight and wimpy. We have to buy all our tires for work from Les Schwab and every one of our half tons have them on and I don't think it makes much difference.

That is what I run.
Yes, the toyo is heavier than my old Mickey Thompson Radial Bajas. I don't know if they are heavier than the Nittos.
I run that exact tire size on my blazer currently. I have 40s laying in wait :D I don't know how other tires handle chunking, but mine are really bad. They tend to chunk more than my Bajas. If you aren't climbing gnarly stuff, it's not a problem. Also, mine are balanced with airsoft BBs.

Didn't think the Nitto made too much noise on the highway. Actually quieter than my MTRs
The nitto mud grappler?
That's the only complaint I see online is how loud they are. I always wonder what they compare them to.

Mine are the trail grappler. I weighed them at one point. I'll see if I can find it

How do they feel and sound on the freeway at 70-80ish. What about towing?

How do they feel/sound at high speed. I like SMOOTH. My swampers were great until they cupped
They are pretty smooth, and not real noisy. Had them up at 90 with no complaints
