Hey friends,
A group of us from CK5 (the salt lake syndicate as they say) have started a fun little youtube channel going over fun mods, fabrication, tips and tricks, installation and reviews of products, and a bunch of other things. Check us out on instagram @uintagarage and follow our YouTube channel :)

One of us had to do it... I got the offroad design parking brake for my birthday. This weekend @72gmck5 and I installed it and put it in our uinta garage Instagram and YouTube channel. Checkout our Instagram and YouTube channel! https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCjYNwKA0W6W5qK4QMyaWqCQ

I haven't been super active lately because since last September my rigs haven't been at my house. Reason for that is I finally built a bigger shop space to work on them! If you follow my IG (@joeymarzo) you have probably seen pictures of the whole building process. Still waiting on my 2 post lift to arrive but I can't wait to dig in and do some major projects soon! I have a whole laundry list of changes/upgrades I want to make to nightmare. More to come....

Looks awesome!
By the way, do you like white?

I'm just checking in to say some of the stuff I did when I was 19 to 20 years old was stupid... I removed so much stuff to "clean up" the engine bay and just tossed it out... Now 35 year old me is like WTF dude... I'm chasing down hardware and little parts (that actually have a purpose) that I just didn't care about as a kid I guess :dunno:. Luckily I hit two junkyards and was able to find all the little odds and ends I needed. I will have functional windshield washers, a factory steering wheel/horn, a better performing A/C, a shift knob that doesn't fall off, a gear indicator that works and so on...

This week I realized the previous owner clipped the vacuum line for the AC flush on the firewall and I never noticed... Working on PB actually made me realize that nightmare was missing a vacuum line... That means while my ac and heat have worked, they weren't fully working as designed because it's supposed to be vacuum controlled.

New plan with this truck is to bring it back to 100% operational. All the little things I lived with are getting fixed. I have no deadline to hit so I can take my time and really do it right. I have most the little parts gathered up and a bunch of things showing up this week .

Nothing major in the works but a renewed interest and progress coming.

This week I replaced my smashed and non functional reverse lights with new pods in a safer location. So here's to hopefully a new start/chapter with this rig.

Fixed the vacuum lines today and discovered one of the vacuum actuators is bad so I'm trying to hunt one down.
I also fixed my windshield wipers and squirters (the right way). I now have 2 wiper speeds and can actually clean my window!

On the mid 70s blazers did they have vacuum accumulators? I don't see any bolt holes or anything where I'd expect it on my truck. Also are these wires for cruise control?

Attached is a screen shot of someone else's truck with the vacuum ball.

Also anyone know the part number for this plastic clip? It's on the linkage on top of the heater box. "B"
