FACK it! I'm black staining ALL the hard wood stuff
I'm sick of trying to match new to old crap. I'm planning on doing a blue/black mixed interior over time anyway. It looks good on my hardwood radio plate I made and I'm just gonna do it
I'll be working on that as much as possible the next few nights and finishing it tuesday/wednsday

I got most of the pieces loosely mounted last night Its comeing together nice. I got the shifter figured out too, not totally happy but it'll do. pics when i get closer. hopefully bustin out the router tonight

new toy in today Instead of 2 amps I simplified with 1 5 channel. best part is it has twice the power of the amps I had AND built in cooling fans. I have to mount the capacitor under the hood now
but its worth it. I also have a 13.5" jl audio w3 coming soon. I should have a VERY clean looking, clean sounding setup With the ability to FRICKIN JAM when I want

I've had a lincoln with 2 audiobahn cast 15"s and their biggest HC amp that pushed 153 db at the rearview mirror. couldnt drive it turned up cause you couldnt SEE anymore, let alone breath . I had a buddy try climbing out the back door at 55 mph cause he couldnt breath and panic'ed I got stopped in time but it was close.
I miss that car but I'll never have that much again probably. I'm more a a SQ guy now.

I got the second coat on right before I left for work tonight The first coat came out a little flatter finished than I expected
I did my radio mount with the same stuff but it is more glossy. May have to do a semi gloss clear on them. sewed my new shifter boot today also. should be WAY nicer than the first one. If all goes well I should get a bunch done saturday and get some pics of it temp mounted
