Well i replaced the whole distributor since i was in there and its still randomly dying....?? next I guess is to put the OEM coil back in...
when i first started troubleshooting it i cleaned a good metal spot off and layed a plug on it and had NO spark for like a 20-30 second crank over.... then had the GF try again and it sparked a few odd times and came up and ran....... thats when i changed the dizzy.
Am i correct in thinking that the Ignition module, coil, and ignition switch under the dash on the column are the only things that kill spark on these trucks....??
Low oil pressure switch is the fuel pump power so thats not it,
nuet safety switch is to the starter so its out,
does the ECM have the power to do that.... I would guess so
This sucks is all I know,,
I just sold my other truck a few weeks ago so this is my DD now
Figures it'd die now
