Sweet! @skunked linked me over to your thread. We're in almost exactly the same boat. I'm swapping in a 454 as well, all stock, not even doing the cam like you are. I'm also thinking about the FiTech, so it's interesting to hear your buddies' experiences with the fuel command center. Might make things easier for my dual tank setup.
