Oh well they weren't that much. And just extra assurance.

Plus that means I don't need to clean the bolt water jacket sealer off the old ones lol.
 
I actually ordered the head bolts thinking I'd run the aluminum heads. And these are what were recommended for those.
 
So you didn't have them whack them at all?

It has a timing tab for the first time :whistle:
Oh and next time im definitely pulling the motor. My back is killing me lol.

Clear coat turns yellow on engine... Just fyi
We will see how hi temp primer and aluminum enamel work out....





 
Hey, something to make timing a little easier. Take a paint pen and make a good solid line at Tdc both on the balancer and the pointer.
Just makes it pop a little bit easier.
 
Pretty shiny! You'll be happy you jetted it up. More power :) also the fact you can reliably set timing is great also.

Thats how I got the red into the scratch line I made on the marker. I think i will do that to the balancer too. :waytogo:
 
Was that high temperature engine clear or just normal clear

I thought it was an engine clear... I cant remember. That was like 4 years ago.


Im hoping to sling some sort of dirt type material next weekend..... :whistle:
