I had a '76 Caddy TH400 attached to a 500 cid engine and I got the drive shaft with it ,it had a CV joint (double cardan) at both the transmission and the pinion end,it was the only vehicle I'd seen with the CV centering ball made into the slip yoke..
Perhaps they used that type of slip yoke ,or it was custom made.
I tried looking up one to get an illustration but didn't see one like it--plenty of other types are pictured though..
Yep. That’s what it is. It appears this is a slip yoke from a Cadillac. Thanks for the save.



Haven’t gotten it on a trail yet so who knows what my plan is haha. Maybe once I have a taste of the goods I’ll gwt crazy and won’t look back. Been known to do that. Haha
