Got any cool tools lately?

I discovered rivnuts when I worked for Kenworth only I was spoiled from the get go using pneumatic and cordless tooling. I have one similar to that and a riveter style but I'm going to get a pneumatic or cordless.
I have a pneumatic for rivnuts and one for rivets. Every now and then in the field, I have to go old school manual. Makes me appreciate the powered tools. Mine are Klutch from Northern. I have no idea how many hundreds of each I have done.

I got this today for a job on a tight spot under a jeep.
I gotta say I really like it. It will be used for anything I have to do on 3/16 now.
May even get one for a few other sizes if they make em.

That’s true, I was. I have moved into a sweet gig with my dad and uncle. We are making commercial roof drains that are hurricane and tornado proof, and serviceable in the concrete after injury. What’s currently available has to be chipped out of the concrete if something happens to it.
Adding in the powdercoat for all of the housings and vents and other stuff that’s used on a commercial roof.

I gotta say, that since Milwaukee went to the lithium batteries, I do like their stuff now. Some of it is super impressive. I Just can't get around paying for it for home.
Before they went to lithium, you couldn't have given me one of their cordless tools.
Now I stare at them wishing I had deeper pockets lol.

I love my dewalt electric chainsaw. It works fantastic for my house chores and camping needs.
Only reason for going dewalt was from a crazy sale price. I suspect any of the bigger name brands would suit me just as well. No way was I going to deal with those tiny gas engines for my infrequent use.

Work had a silent auction. So I bought this.

I've wanted a 5'x3.5' 1/2" thick welding table for a while now. Like 5 years or so.

But the prices of steel went up, and per my plan, it was going to cost me $500-600. So I never did.
This one came up, and I won it at $350, and an identical one at $250. ("Identical one" actually had a 14"x10" notch out of the center of the back side)

5'x3'x1/2". Close enough lol.
I sold the other one to my buddy for my 250 back beings I only wanted one, and he was probably the next highest bidder at $210.

It's getting the rail taken off, lowered to my height, swivel 2 way locking casters, a good vice, and a couple shelves. Most of which I already have here.

I actually have casters that are exactly what I want, but rubber wheeled. I want steel. The Rest I have.

I need to make my table I already have the 1/2" plate, not sure the exact measurements but pretty close to 5x3, I just need the legs.
I also have plenty of casters I can use, even some steel casters.
