Got any cool tools lately?

@obijuank5 you tagged me as if I’m some sort of screwdriver hoarder! :rotfl:

I would like to have a set of that color but I don’t think they never made an 8 pc set with stubbies. It sounds whiney but my collection is all the earlier 8 pc sets. If I could find stubbies that color I’d build a set but I’ve never seen any.

I'm trying to sell a NICE one. Lol.
I actually don't like em. You stand there and pull off as much as you think you are gonna need, and it's never quite right, and they're tough to pull usually,.

Then when you put em away, you have to let the dirty hose slide through your hands or it flies back in and smacks stuff.

I finally went to a hose just coiled right in 3'-4' tall loops on a wall hanger.
Every loop is roughly an arm span or so. So its easy to gauge what you need.

The one I'm selling.

Not exactly a tool, but it performs a task...
Buddy at work is GIVING me a 24' fifth wheel camper.
Was his parents, stored in doors when not in use.
Supposedly in good condition and doesn't leak.

Figured I'd better get hitch bars so I can tow it lol.
They're giving me the hitch too.

(Pay no attention to the filthy bed... This truck gets USED. Lol)

Mine are 10 yrs old, and brand new at the same time. Lol.
That's what I get for buying a torch and a plasma cutter on the same day :doah:

I've barely used my torch since buying the plasma, but when I have tried the old regulators were giving me fits.

I have 5 acres and a tractor that can pick up the torch to go where I need it. I don't have a long enough extension cord or air line to get very far outside of the shop door though, so I need the torch every so often.

Used mine a few times for bending steel and such. But it's not often.

I use mine with a generator, I can go anywhere with it.
Plasma and or welder

Sounds like too much work when the torch can do the job faster than getting a generator, air compressor, and plasma set up.

Most of the time I can just bring the project into the shop. The 1% of the time I'm forced to work in the yard, I'll strap the torch cart to the forks and take it to what I'm working on and be running in less than 5 minutes.

Well for me I got really good at the plasma cutter that I prefer it, and I was given a generator big enough and a plasma cutter to run all of it, so I have a setup on a small trailer that I use at the yard where I don't have power.
I have a torch setup but I need practice
