"Hardcore" 89 (Black and Blue). IT RUNS, DRIVES, AND STOPS. BUILD ON HOLD

Nothing new has happened on this. I have been working mids, and the kids are playing baseball.

I did get distracted and bought another parts truck though. Made my Money back plus some so I gotta get rid of the rest. I only picked it up because it came with a TBI 454 and 4L80e from a '95 Suburban. He threw in a set of 049 heads and some Thorley Tri Ys too.
Parts truck had a hydro 465 setup so it was easy selling stuff.

Here is a full shot of the Blazer in its current form lol. My garage is super full now though. Today I'm going to try and get organized enough to get back to work on it.

Cookies!! :haha:

Are you planning on clocking the T-Case? I only ask because the mounting foot will need to be modified if you plan on doing so.

Yes I am planning on clocking the case flat. Do you have more info? Pics?

I do have pics.....

Below you can see the slots which allow for some adjustment (clocking), however nowhere near enough for it to be flat or close to it. So I had to use some transfer punches, drill my own holes and trim a section for the rear shift rail to clear.

Hmmm ok I see what you mean. Almost need a clocking ring with a mounting foot. How much does your case hang below the rails with that setup?

If the frame stayed flat the 205 wouldn’t be below the frame at all however it starts to angle up therefore it’s probably a couple inches below at the back of the 205.

Not much of an update, but got off a little early and got a couple hours before baseball.

Broke the 63s down tonight and got the shackle flip mocked up so I could check travel. Sprayed a little Ryoken green so I can put some paint on tomorrow.

Front springs are off, stock hangers are off, frame rails cleaned up, and got the B52s off the exo/engine cage.

Built these neato plates to try and eliminate the frame flex at the upper shackle hanger. My slider/Apillar will tie in behind the shackle, and the engine cage will tie in forward and above the shackle mount. Should brace that area up well. Still have to figure out the lower two bolts as the welded in studs didn't hold up to torquing the nuts very well.
