Motor
Front fourlink
And some body work

I wanna make this this as stout as possible I.e frame boxing crossmembers etc , motor mounts just things I’m thinking of , just trying to figure what order to do them In too any input ?

Extend your cage work into the engine bay to reinforce your frame, tie that into your coilover mounts. I don’t see the point of boxing if you do that.

Most definitely I’m just gun shy I guess now after cracking the frame .

For sure cage the engine area. That was the downfall of mine. Nearly every trip I would crack the frame somewhere. I blew the steering joints too. I would move the orbital before the coilover tower if you can too

Im worried about the left to right movement of the Axel seems to put a lot of stress on the frame where the links mount . I’m definitely going full hydro steering but I think I should get the motor in and see how that’s gonna fit and start building around it I think lol.

I think building around the engine is a good idea. I haven’t tied my track bar bracket into my cage yet, but probably should before I beat on it any harder. @AgDieseler has some good pics of how his is tied in.

Got the old shock towers out and ground some of the welds off . I’ve been thinking a lot on the order of operations and I’m deciding to get started on the links as far as setting ride height , getting upper brackets tacked in place and brackets on the axel . Then make my link tube lengths. The engine will be easy enough to take in and out as needed once I start this process I’ll be able to figure out where I can tie into /box the frame as I see necessary.

Got the axel and leafs out today making room to start tacking brackets . 21C7BB68-9A93-4F13-8326-A618CBFAA973.jpeg3DE8FC06-14A3-4AB3-84C1-4B58B1422BE0.jpeg Any sway bar experts around I get how it works and why for the most part . I just don’t understand how it’ll help my rig while crawling in the rocks ?

For a sway bar, starting with a rear is simpler to assemble and might be all you need. That’s where I notice the bulk of my roll, albeit with a heavier truck.

Ord sells a kit for the front I’m doing the front now .

I put my sway bar on the rear thinking it would be easier to setup. Seemed to work out really well. I am amazed how well the street manners are. I’m not sure how much it affects articulation yet, haven’t had a chance to do a comparison.
