I ran my exhaust over the case and wrapped it, but I think the floor is shaped differently on mine.

The exhaust is very close to the fuel line and filter there. One he has the engine in the frame he can eyeball the cross over layout

Is your case this flat?

@skunked , the case isn't clocked flat, but the pipe that went around it didn't have much air space on either side. So rather than put more heat into the case, and possibly have heat problems in the fuel like @ZooMad75 and @500$k5 have at times, why not try to think of a way to help the heat management. I have exhaust pipes that will hook to the manifolds and go around both sides for dual exhaust. I would only like duals, if the heat is under control, and it gets an H pipe.

Nice. Is your axle set up with high steer or is your tie-rod removed.

It has high steer. I may have to go back to the standard the rod location, as I had them make the springs with the axle 1" forward.

Took me a long time to screw all that chit together

ORD springs?
Yes sir. I will take a better picture of them soon. I counted 10 leaves per spring, for a 3" lift.... lots of comments like "wow" when some of my friends looked at them.
@Babaganoosh , he took the cash that I offered him!!!!!

Oh, and the old style bellhousing messed with me , as I forgot that you can't leave it on the trans because the flywheel won't clear it. So I had the engine hanging from the crane, and the trans/t-case on the trans jack. Partially separated, but had to then pull the trans bolts.... And I wasn't in the mood for a screw-up/fight.....
Oh well, I got it after a few words....

Well, I haven't worked on the engine this week. But I did get the heads off on Saturday. No pics yet of what I found .
But I did get a couple of parts to go with what I had.
Gonna try these rocker cover gaskets. Time will tell....

I am trying to figure out exhaust now with the HP60 and doubler with Ford 205, add in a flat belly, fuel lines and traction bar all wanting to be on one side and it's a cluster f*ck worthy of NASA.

I kind of like my diff on my side vs the passenger side.

I can size up rocks before I hit them. I guess it doesn't matter now with the DIY cover and 1 3/4 x 3/8 tierod. If I damage those then I'm being an idiot.

I may just run the exhaust into the cab.
