Those tabs are a great idea to keep the springs straight. I will miss Burt and I banging the crap out of them on the trail
I was thinking about that the whole time I was welding them up.

We're not going to know what to do with ourselves once I have a truck that doesn't break down in one form or another every trip.
are those rock lights the 12.99 ones from harbor freight? what kinda pattern do they throw?
I don't remember exactly where I got those, I've had them for years. I think they were from walmart and I used to have them up front. Either way I know they were cheap and have been abused for years with no new bulbs or issues. They get kinda beat where they are right now and they don't complain.

They throw a flood pattern that lights up everything all the way beside the truck just about up to the headlights.
My sister's truck needed front brakes so I ended up having to do that last night instead of work on the k10 but that's ok, she's good to go now.
So tonight I managed to get a couple hours of work in and as usual ended up getting all dark on me.
Started by getting the traction bar put back in...
Then started mocking up my rear shocks...
Whipped up some upper tabs and got the limiting straps "adjusted" (twists,

) and put on...
My dad snapped a pic since he thought it looked cool at night.
Passenger side all done...
