linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

Not yet, thinking I should probably buy some more important stuff first, like trans and steering coolers, air shifters, and redo the brake lines and clean up under the hood, also the alternator went out on our Acura so I got my roommate a new car. Did some trading with my dad for it, AWD should be nice for her when it snows.

2 4wd Cadillacs now!

Got the 205 tore down and now soaking in the parts cleaner, I’m just going to order already modified rails to twin stick it I think and a gasket kit and 1 bearing. Also planning on cutting off the large mounting foot, or at least trimming it. welding a plate back over that make me nervous though, the welding and cooling down slowly process doesn’t sound like something I’m going to be good at.

Probably going to use a flange style front yoke so I can build a 1480/ Dana 60 shaft front driveshaft. Similar to what @nvrenuf did for his driveshaft. Where’s a good place to order flanges and yokes? 1410 rear also

Or maybe there is a 1480 yoke that will just bolt on to a 205, that would be even better.

Ordered a gasket kit and the one bearing I messed up for the 205, also let the case soak in molasses and water for a couple days and it looks like brand new. Only a couple more weeks of work until I’m off for the winter and things can start going a lot faster on this again. I need to make a list....

Thanks! Means a lot coming from you, your suburban is one of my favorites. Someday I hope to have something as reliable.
We’re here to build each other up. I draw on y’all for inspiration when building my junk.

Send @Can Can some of those killer trail photos. Save the calendar.

Your roommate? People don't usually buy their roommates cars, I thought it was going to be your daughter until I realized you are only 23. ha ha

Nice car, she'll love that car, my wife had one of those for a few years and it's so fun to drive and it spoils you too.

You guys know what would be even more over the top of a luxury vehicle to build... and it already comes with a twin turbo v8...
