M1009 Standard Shift Build(The Greatest Adventure)

It's also Hanukkah right now so he's probably eating lamb. And adding beef to his shock mounts.

I am in the process of mocking up my 14bsf.

I'm on four wheels again!

I still have to put in my shocks, e-brake, brake lines, and get the driveshaft made but I'm pumped just for the truck to move again.

I wouldn't be this far without 496truck and chevy305 who really helped me out a bunch! Thanks guys!

Front axle regeared?

Hell, I can't remember what gear ratio you went with. 4.88?

Only the rear has 4.88s in it right now. I have not re-geared the front. I should have added that to my to-do list.

Lookin good dude! :waytogo:

Shocks getting inboarded?

The shocks are staying in the stock location. The driver side will be a little more vertical and the passenger side will be more sloped, but I don't see why that should be a problem. I have some exhaust clearance issues on the drivers side. I have to go to the exhaust shop to get the exhaust fixed from where I loped a bunch off putting the t-case back in. Ill see what they think about moving it, or maybe I'll just hit it with a hammer. :dunno:

Why did I think shocks got mounted outside the frame rails? Guess I haven't crawled under my truck in a while.
