My '70 C/10 - The Rat Bastard... [Won't Idle.]

Don't hold your breath Adam. I've been waiting a long time for "something kewl" from Mike. :D:whistle:

- Got some NGK Spark Plugs.
Heard they're good.... Japanese, or not. :dunno:
Lotsa guys on 67-72 swear by 'em. :D

- Exchanged the MSD plug wires, for Taylor 135's... They should clear the headers.

- Also... I had to buy (6) ARP Torque Converter bolts, for a 700R4.
Cuz they were out of 3-packs.

make sure to vary your cam break-in rpm's from 1500 to 2000 rpm's on that new mill.. :D

didn't you fully disassemble that and go thru it?

Nope.

Took it down to the rotating assembly and everything looked real good.
So, I left it that way.

Didn't take it all the way down.
It was obviously rebuilt shortly before it was sold to Issaam.
I have a lot of "6" and "8" pistons, too. :haha:

Essentially I just did a gasket job, with some head work. :dunno:
And measured, and measured, and measured some more.

don't take long for straight water to do that.. much quicker than many think...

At some point in this blocks life, it had an overheated, then run on water scenario. :haha:

And I know how some clean Cast Iron, LOVES to insta-rust.
Leave it in the garage in some decent humidity.... BAM! Overnight surface rust. :doah:

I know you Salt-Air guys got it worse....
