Thanks. That's why I post, so other people can get ideas. That's how I have gotten all my ideas, so thought I would return the favor.
I would like to build some sheet metel protection too, similar to the pic I attached. I will probably make it out of smaller either 1" or 1.5" tube. We will see how it turns out. As you can see from one of my pic's above, I have already got some damage there, so figured if I am going to still wheel a fullsize, should probably protect those large corners

This rig is coming along nicely. I like your idea for the rear bumper. I might end up copying your idea when I get rid of the bumper thats on my rig now and build a new one.

Thanks. The bumper isn't perfect by any means, but I think it turned out good. I kinda like the imperfections in my tube work....I take more pride in that I built it myself

Yes. And some doing Carnage on Saturday the 25th.
Was Elk hunting this last weekend and will be deer hunting this weekend, but was able to add some more tubes to the bumper last week after work. Once again, not perfect, but I think it turned out alright. It added some up and down stability to the tubes.

Thanks. It was fun. Didn't see one freaking elk. Saw deer all over the place, but deer tag is next weekend in a different unit. Was still a good time. Just a lot of hiking with a gun
. But it's always good to get in the mountains to get normal again. When I spend too much time in the city I get all weird

My wife grew up outside of Burley, I have spent some time in the Boise area, and both my wife and I went to college in Southeast Idaho. Every once in a while I miss Idaho
I live in Boise, when I'm at home I travel a lot for work. That's funny your wife grew up by Burley. I'm from there also....I grew up living between Burley and Oakley. Love Idaho wish I didn't travel so much I'd spend more time there.
Truck looks great man! I read the whole thread tonight and minus the body damage I felt like I was reading a lot of my build with the order of mods and the way we did things! I dig it!
Since you do know the area, she actually lived in Albion, outside of Declo. It's such a small town that most people don't know where it is.

. And I am sure I will catch up with body damage. The only thing that might save me is our trails are not as tight as WA trails . My brother lives in Yelm right now. He has an 88 Jimmy that's hacked up on Rockwells and 44's. You guys should get together and wheel some

Yeah, used it a couple times. Have nothing but great things to say about it. Been a great winch. If it does fail on me, I will just buy another one
