Well dude i like it!! I have ever since it was first introduced as a concept truck!! I think its one of the best NEW trucks out!! I mean look at all the competitors!! Those are some ugly vehicles now!!! Anyway I would have one myself but that $40K Pricetag is kinda keeping me from it!! Congrats dude!! Have fun and post some pics!!!

I am guessing it's this guy monte and he is off by 3 hours since he's east coast, his post looks like it after you guys but he is the one that brought it back from the dead.

I think the Avalanche is a bloated piece of crap. It ranks right up there with the Aztek in beauty. If I were going to spend that kind of coin I'd buy a K3500 and get the 8.1L.

you get the 3/4 ton or half ton model?
i want one, and this year yu can get thim without all the plastic on them. they look better then. but i like them both ways. the only problem is i dont think i can put a 5th wheel in the back of the avalanch... maybe id be the first to try it...
what color you get? i like the blue they got out this year, and the green(my 03 sonoma is the green, mmm, green).

Avalanches are cool, WTF are you peeps talkin about? Have you seen an Avy with a lift? The 3/4 model comes with the 8.1 liter V8 TOO!!!!

You dont have to pull it off if you buy the Avalanche with this option. I think they call it the naked version or something. It looks real good then. Like a pickup. But you still get all the fun goodies that the Avalanche comes with, ie the be and such. I am thinking of one for my wife in the 'naked' version.

Great craftsmanship. However, someone has more money than brains.
For what was spent on that rig someone could've built a K5 that does better and a 10 second normally aspirated fourthgen f-body.

the truck is growing on me... pretty nifty.... i still wouldnt offroad it... nor any new truck... I am waiting for the gmc terradyne... although i just heard with a starting price tag of $65k.... but hell 35's stock!!!!!

But..dont knock the Avalance just cause the way it looks if u have ever rid in one they actualy ride really nice and have a decent amount of interior space to give a bit more comfort then ur normal extended cab or wat have u...but yea i have to agree they are ugly as hell to about 90% the people who see them but to the other 10% they like em and respect that cause tahts their opinion
anyways Gratz on ur new toy...
