Next step is to cut the 2” tube for the fairlead.

Also, dimpled the space that will lie between the wing tube landing. The 3/4 impact did a better job that the portapower.

Tray and structural fairlead mount are done. All .120 4130 except for the fairlead mounting plate which is .190.









Drained quite a bit of argon for that one.

A 309L cap does spill the skittles. I’d love to do this again, but with a machined mount.

Welding first thing - before coffee or anything else - works pretty well for me. Burn for an hour. Then, coffee.

Did you want the fairlead and recessed tray? I can set them up in SendCutSend marketplace. Buy it and burn it all in for yourself. Is that what you were thinking?

The tube landings maintain room for the frame mounting hardware.





Happy with the welds. It’s a mix of 4130 and mild. All covers are 309.





I’m bringing home the rear bumper tomorrow. There’s some fiddling to do on that one.
