Onetonbb74s K5

1 ton k5 built for wheeling and camping.
Ended up re-mounting my exhaust. Used a couple 90 degree 2-hole unistrut brackets bent down with a little kick and bolted up some exhaust hangers I had lying around...

I just repaired the same exact crack on my 76 k5 last weekendIMG_20181026_164657.jpg

Did you do anything on the inside of the frame for support where it cracked...... I didn't want it flexing there again so boxed about 8" either side of the shock mount

No, I have not pulled the lines on the inside of the frame yet. I like the size of your frame plate, I need to add another on the back side, and I want it to weld in different spots on the frame then the visible side plate for strength.

Snapped a bolt on the intake....pulling out the welder

I thought I had a new water neck/thermostat housing, installed it only to realize its for a v belt motor....ended up putting the old one back on. Used the right sruff for rtv...

Just weighed this thing...3/4 tank, full doors on, steel rims, softtop on, camping gear minus the beer and food, 6160 lbs. 6340lbs with me inside.

Yessir...the rear seat is in...spare tire and tools...

Im actually running my spare shafts (neckdown inners and 30 spl stubs) and my good ones are mounted in the back, with the flanges and hilift. I do not have a spare driveshaft yet.

ended up doing bearings and seals again...looks like new spindles are in order...
