PLAN B

This build was 2 parts 1 i have a truck I made to pretty to wheel so I'm building an ugly one I can actually enjoy. And 2. My cousin has been trying to join us for blazer bash but his truck wont be ready so we are surprising him with this one
I killed my fairlead today....
I was told I could use a steel hawes with my winch cable vs the roller style fairlead then another guy said I must use a roller with cable....

The waren steel hawes says it works for cable and rope.... hmmmm any thoughts?

Honestly if I could find a slim fairlead I'd be all in.

Official review of the ORD "Heavy duty" FUSH spring hangers and "heavy duty" bushings....
The bushings are trash.... I got about 30 city miles and ONE trail in moab out of them..

The upper ones do not look like they are tight enough. Which then also makes the bottom ones also to loose. Almost looks like you bushing has fallen out of the sleeve.

@kgblazerfive look at the pictures again...
There's no bushing left on the outside and the bolt is now tilted....soooo yeah it fell out of the sleeve.... I tightened the bolts to the torque specs (75 lbs) they gave me. Double checked before my trip. Both sides look worn one side totally broke. I need a better brand bushing or return to stock

I'd have to second Keith on this one...

Looks that it was too loose and caused the failure.

Don't mean to assume to know exactly what happened here, but a properly installed spring or shackle bushing wouldn't give up after 30 miles and a trail run...

Are you running 52's up front?

I ask because the 52's use a skinnier bushing than the front factory springs.

ORD's Fush kit is built for the wider front factory bushing. They offer a wider spring eye bushing for the 52's to match the wider Fush kit or you can use offset shackles as I did to compensate.

These are from ruff stuff...20180624_170623.jpg

I had to open the bolt holes from 1/2" to 9/16th...

I agree with blaze. I have the ord fush setep on 52’s and my bushings only lasted a few runs.
