Project 82 TCBF -10.13.9 - progress!!!

It`s funny what all my neighbors say. When I put the motor in the second time, and dropped the tranny/tcase in, I was working alone, and they all wanted to make sure I was not getting hurt with no help. When the older folks that walk around the neighborhood see me out there, they always say "well, I watched it come apart, now I guess I`ll watch it go back together!" I guess I`m glad they don`t just walk by and mumble "innercity redneck" hahaha
Enjoy!

haha I have those neighbors too... they're always interested in what I'm tearing apart in the driveway...

Great progress man... I'm excited to see the first video of you tearin' it up through the mud/rocks/sand/ or whatever you guys in NE do. :wink1:

I wish I could tell ya. Picked em up from a local on NEK5. Maybe PM 4x4HIGH, he`d definitely be able to help you out :wink1:

what I was getting at is are they roller rockers, roller tip, or just standard rockers?

You seriously need to do something for your mom when this is all said and done... my mom supports my "stupid truck addiction" but I can hardly get her to come outside to check out progress, much less actually help.

Lookin' good as usual...

Is it me, or does your mom look exceptionally happy to see it coming back together?

Just kidding, it is starting to take shape and looking pretty good. Keep up the great work.

Isn`t it awesome? She`s helped on quite a few things and this build, and its greatly appreciated. She`ll definitely be thanked properly when all`s said and done, thats for damn sure :wink1:

:haha::haha::haha: You know, I guess that could be hard to tell. :haha::haha::haha:

In all seriousness, for some odd reason, she loves helping. Who am I to turn down good help ?:haha::p:

NO idea why I noticed or found this funny...

What your neighbor was too busy to help or was his delorean low on plutonium when he was picking up a new outfit in 1983? :D

Lookin sick man. That thing is pretty. Are you still gonna wheel it hard when its finished and all nice lookin? Like lay the side into a bank and get on the skinny pedal wheel it?

Lookin Great, now its gonna come together really Fast.

Are you going to register it as an 82 c30?

And what are you going to use for wireing?

Tom

Thanks guys!

For wiring, I`m going with a new harness, not sure from where yet.

As for registering, I`m not 100% sure how to do it yet. I know they can change the vehicle type, because they did it when I retitled the rig when it was a blazer, so if they do, maybe a k20 pickup?

As of now it's reg. as a c30 dump.
