Project Camo Reaper - Brake lines made - post #144

Since it's the cool thinking to do, I need a name for the Jimmy. It will be desert camo, on 37 and 1 tons. Might work in prior Air Force career, desert storm, Iraqi Freedom, screen name. I'm not real creative

and go..

Hmmm..that could work. I'm thinking about stenciling in a few air force symbols maybe a bomb falling

here is it when I got it. It's been passed around Colorado a bit:

this is something like I want it look. Not sure about the white paint mixed in

It was a bit chilly today (36f*) but it was better than being stuck in the house with fighting kids. I backed the car trailer with the 1 ton rolling chassis up to the garage and got to work. I got the 14b and D60 removed along with both drive shafts and exhaust. Still need to get the 400/205 removed, the master cylinder, PS pump and lines, maybe the gas tanks before Brad gets the frame for his 3+3+3 project.
It really must have been cold cause it took 2 hours in the house plus a 20 minute hot shower to find my balls :haha:

Haha, must have been hell in the house to be wanting to work in 30s deg weather. And after you unbolted the axles you lifted the frame with one ARM and pulled the axles out with your pinkey

Haha, I'm not that big :D. I used the cherry picker to hole the front up to roll the D60 off. After I unbolted the rear I used the cherry picker to lift the frame off the 14b, hook a chain to the other end of the frame and to the wifes 4runner and dragged it forward enough to have access to the 14b. Then unhooked the frame from the cherry picker and hooked onto the 14b and lifted/dragged it off the side of the trailer.
I'm sure the neighbors were laughing if they were watching

Since it will be camo and a hunting rig, how bout "Camo Killer"? Stencils of tree stands, deer, elk and bombs in the paint :dunno:

Decided to call the project "Camo Reaper". I have been collecting silhouettes for the paint, including a reaper

Just placed an order with ORD for a few goodies. Gotta take advantage of sales when I can.
2.5" shackle flip, zero rate for the front, weld in steering brace and extended brake lines

These are the wheels I will be getting from Trailworthyfab next month
