did you weld the whole joint at once? i see a lot of distortion in the metal. usually thats caused by excessive heat. you should generally spread out the heat load, kind of similar to torquing down a cylinder head. you do it in steps and in a sequence, in a manner that you don't warp it out.

How many HOURS do you have in that one side did you do a mock up with tires and suspension compression.

Well if you look closely you'll see the thick layer of bondo that was used to cover the whole warped ****nessed of the factory sheet metal!! welding this **** is like welding aluminum foil..

I stiched it where it would hold until a crater popped up. you should know that you remember welding the floor panel!!

I went to sand off the bondo on the bottom of the fender and it went all the way through!! the entire bottom was held together with bondo!!:haha:

Hence the 14 gauge overlay.

it was probably 2-3hrs chopped and welded up and an hour sanding. I was really just messing around with a rusted out fender so if it doesn't work I'll just make another set!!

I'm just doing retard **** for now while I'm poor :D

I need to get some 4.56 gears for it, and I would like upgrade the "neckdown" shafts and outers.

but I think bare minimum a regear and some new calipers and I could get it put together and on the road!!

Sound's good dude if you get ready to put the 60 back together call me i want o come over and help/watch. Or if you decide to let the 30 spline stuff go i might have a buyer for you.

well get to it, ill have you do my truck when you are really good at it:D.

I could not even tell what you did at first i had to go back and look at it. How much did you move the edge back?

It's the new noob thing.

Post random BS comments on other people's threads until you're over 15 posts.

HINT FOR THE NOOBS: "Nice truck" or "good work" would seem much better than random weird BS.

whats so random about it??? I thought the pics of the roadsign floor board were pretty damn funny.

just remember you were all "noobs" at some point
