seems like quite the bulky trans cooler...
Yes, it is a big cooler. I got it new and for free.......

So I set the buraucratic wheels in motion. fast forward to Fri 14th Aug. I seal the deal for it. picked up the wreck for $1500. basically for the diffs rims tires and suspension. the cab and service body is scrap weight. the interior seats and center console. is pretty good too still. might sell them.
I just hate the way the auto drives. I got a nv4500 from a buddy out of his '98 3500 dodge 2wd.
anyone? super duty diff tech? I know the rear is a D110 though for sure, and 4.30 ratios.
And:9. The good news is that the Super 60 uses 1 1/2-inch, 35-spline inner and outer axleshafts. Plus, if you remove the 10-lug unit bearing, you can bolt on the 8-on-170mm unit bearings from '05-and-newer F-350s. Doing so narrows the axle nearly 10 inches and allows you to use 20-inch Super Duty wheels.
If you want to use a Visteon/sterling axle in the back, you can change this to the newer 1ton frod bolt pattern.

Thats going to be some long hours of fab work there....
