Funny!

I noticed that you are in Sacramento. I lived there for about 5 years, my wife is from there and my in-laws are still there. In fact, last summer I flew out there to get my K5 from my father-in-law and towed it back to TN (see profile pic). Long drive but we had a blast!

Ya....

Driving away from Sacramento is the BEST!!!! :thumb:

:haha:

But seriously, tho....
That's really cool that you used to live here.
It's fun, but auto-theft, etc., are a problem in my area.
(South Sac., think Fruitridge-area, just before Elk Grove.)

Was it a big culture shock, movin' out there?
We're really country-at-heart, type a folks.
So, I wanna get outta here.... It's not for us anymore.

I need to move to land, w/ no "neighbors".... (or hoodlums!) :waytogo:

I'm really sick of thoughts like, "I have to paint my 1-tons black. So, no one wants to steal them...

For Jeebus-sake, my son and I we're 10ft. from a gang-shooting, last year....
It was DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF A PRE-SCHOOL!!!

wtf!?

I'm not a big fan of city-folk...

Fruitridge.....that's where my in-laws are at so I know what you mean. On a quiet night you might only have a few 9mm go off, maybe a few .45's. But every once in while someone would let'er rip with an uzi. I hated it. North CA is nice, but only away from the city.
I'm from TN but the wife was not. I had to drag her kicking and screaming to TN. Now I can't get her leave. Nice thing about TN, we are still in America (for now). You can walk in the gun store, pick out what you want and walk out the same time with your new wepon of choice.

You know the toothbrush was invented here right? Anywhere else and it would have been a teethbrush.

It's terrible... but, this is totally true. :doah:

At least our neighborhood is a nicer one.
But, that only means that the ghetto-people come here to steal.
Lucky us.

One time, I ran a thief down.
Turned out just to be some kid... maybe 15....maybe.

wtf?:dunno:

On New Years... it gets INSANE.
Easily 1000, or more, rounds go into the sky.

Now I'm wondering if I ever want to go tractor paint on top of the rattle can paint (Krylon) if that will cause any issues with peeling.

More pics of the blonde on the dirt road!

:P

I bought mine rattle canned but they did a ****ty job so I'm going to either redo the rattle can properly or rhino line the whole exterior OR rattle can the body and rhino line the new bumpers, cage, slider, rockers,etc.... Not sure which yet.

i thought about rhino lining the cab? it's from TX and i live in the rust belt. the front and rear fender's can be replaced easy like. the cab...

Who was that guy that rolled his paint on and sanded it smooth with a D/A and then buffed it? I read that about 4-5 years ago, but can't remember other than it surprisingly came out good.

Couple guys on here have done it. Thinking about it myself.
