Did your kit come with compressor, and engine brackets?
I got the site to work on my PC, slow but got to pick make and model and see offerings.
I was looking for my early Bronco, $2200+. I am not sure what I would be getting. It shows the under dash kit, scroll down and I see a condenser kit, is that included or extra?
Neither kit shows compressor or brackets.

I got everything but the compressor and engine brackets. I have to custom mount it do to the cab over design of the truck.
It was just under $1600 for the biggest one. Compressor and adapter were $400 for what I needed.

Walmart super tech 2000 oil ....... ..... if i had to guess .

Added the good stuff. 55psi cold still. Maybe a tiny bit more. At 185*, at idle, it now has a tick over 20psi.

Never had any noise. Still doesn't. As of yesterday.

Old heater core out.

The fan was making a ticking noise because it was rubbing something. Found it.


Clean firewall to install on.

It took 2 hours to get that out. There was a hidden river in a non accessible area. Had to have been put in before another panel was added. I hate prying stuff apart.

I needed to pull the existing temp sending unit so I can cover that hole.

Now I have been watching the temp gauge go to 180 or so. Then it would drop a lot, then come back. It is a mechanical unit. I follow the line to the engine. The sending unit is laying on the exhaust manifold. Not even in the water passages anywhere. Fooled me.

Block off panels done. I have plugs coming for the holes. Had these in before lunch.
Went in to feed the dog and myself. Laid on the floor to stretch my back. Woke up an hour later. I have been awake since 2am.

First attempt at bolt in. Sound mat added under it. They were asking if I had enough room for it? Looks small in there.

1/4-20 nut zerts were used to install, including on their stand off bracket.

He knows better. Has not ever peed in the house. If he did, he would be gone.

Going backwards. After mounting the condenser, 8 more bolts and radiator removal allows really easy access to fab up AC compressor mounts.

Reminds me of the days I spent working on UPS trucks when they ran International chassis with 7.3L Powerstrokes. Pull the cooling package to do just about anything.
