Ryoken's 89 Crew Cab Tubebed build... aka Mutt....

thanks, sorry, but not, just a 1/2" plate.. my welder friend has all that.. i meant the actual hitch that you would bolt to that...

I know they have cheaper than that, this one is a slider, it's the top of line, you can get one that stays put, so you can't shift the weight of the tongue forward or backwards on your truck, big deal.
I almost got one with the fifth wheel trailer for $200, mostly because it had 4 brand new tires.
I was too slow though and someone else got it.:doah:

Not sure you need a super glide, those are usually for short beds so the fifth wheel trailer want hit the cab in tight turns.

Paul, have you thought about custom brake lines....G&J aircraft made mine to my specs, and all this was 127 to my door!

I was thinking it was a fifth wheel... actually I guess I should design/fit what I can get in the way of a big sick plate like kert's there that I can bolt a fifth wheel to.. it and the fuel tank are at war for space... looks like kerts plate goes to the front of that high frame section... just gotta figure out how far forward I can get the plate/hitch, and what that does for me fitting the biggest tank I can......

actually, using kerts pic, i can kinda go figure this out....

*Ryoken - heading outside with tape measure.... :haha:

So now you have me puzzled, do you want gooseneck or fifth wheel?
You can actually have both if you get the fifth wheel and the adaptor for the gooseneck, can't do the opposite.
For me on a pick up I will not bother with a fifth wheel since I have my big rig for that, I'll just have a gooseneck for a small 30-35' off road trailer.:pimp:

I want the fifth wheel.. if your gonna start from scratch, it just seems a better way to go... I'm so far off from a trailer it's not even funny.. so this is all mainly not to screw myself down the road.. try to figure out all future components... I'm also gonna be running an air tank and winch in the rear.. no winch up front...

this fifth wheel plate needs to multi-task.. I see shock mounting in your immediate future too...

** going to buy steel joy dance **

Everybody around here uses B&W fifth wheel equipment and we do a lot of towing in this country. Everything from huge horse trailers, to equipment, to RVs that look like a whale humping a guppy. They have the really trick flip over on hide a ball setups.

900 is a bit more than i was looking to spend.. maybe I can get em to just send me a template for now to check the plate..... :haha:
