actually that really helps.. the 4wd one has the pigtail plugged into it, with the foot or so of wire not attached to anything.... I could steal it for now to plug in the reverse to check the switch and get it hooked up...
gonna start gearing up to make a copy of the K5's dash bezel and go all Autometer in Mutt sometime over the next 6 months or so.. it's kinda one of those projects I can do on the side late at night... so the 4wd indicator wont be needed for a while... heck, I won't have a driveshaft in it till the fall anyway...

never was driven far from the plant, but occasionally would drop to '0'.
