ok, fellas, could use some suggestions....
now that the drawers are going in, and I'm gonna be talking to my tank guy in 5 or 6 weeks I'm guessing, I'm trying to finalize/figure out my drawer configs..
originally I was gonna do 2 6 compartment ones, and 2 3 compartment ones... but now I'm thinking of being a bit more diverse and specific to whats gonna go in em..
I'm still thinking of doing the 6 compartment ones like this
one for hand tools, the other for hardware and small parts..
than I'm gonna do one with 3 long sections
but instead of another 3 section one, I'm actually gonna do one split down the middle.. I have some larger plastic cases that wont fit in the 3 compartment ones..
ANYWAY, where I need input is for the hardware/parts one.... any suggestions on containers for in there for bolts/nuts/screws and such? I'm thinking things that have tops would probably be good and can stack in there side by side and utilize the space well...... like square-lidded plastic Tupperware or something????
I wanna start looking around at things so maybe I can buy some over the next weeks, so I can modify my dividers exactly if I find a good solution, so everything fit's great...
the drawers are about 5.5" deep.. I'd like to utilize that well.... I have a bunch of these
but they only go up about 2/3 to the top, couldn't stack 2..... ideally 4 smaller ones like this to take up the whole drawer footprint, and deeper would be ideal...
but I'm wide open to suggestion...
this will be nuts, bolts, screws, electrical connectors, cotter pins, switches, smaller parts...
obviously it would nice to just have the whole drawer turned into like 4" x 4" cubby's to the top edge, but I'm thinking that may drive the welders nuts and cost a bunch more than a simple 6 or 4 compartment deal.. oh, and if the containers reach near the top, they probably wont needs lids, as the top I'm adding is literally 1/8" above the drawer or less...
