Ryoken's 89 Crew Cab Tubebed build... aka Mutt....

That looks killer:pimp:

This is what it's intended for. Slide it over before you crimp the ends. Good hose protection for dozer front ends.

Just have to get the size that suits you. I used armor for a 1" hose. The plastic protector is more common. And cheaper. But you can't use it this way.

I know it's not the rig..

but it is the motivation behind it, so deal with it.. :p: starting to seriously check into my future pup... I want a 10 week old around X-mas, so litters are in oct... looking to put deposits down now if need be...

I'm so stoked to get a new pooch, been almost 15 yr's now since Raven passed.... it's a big big deal to me.. I'm not one to get a dog and just casually train it, out of respect for the dog, to be the best it can be...... this dog will get full classes and undivided attention... Malachi will be with me 24 hr's a day...

being I hate 97.3% of humans, it's guaranteed, he will be my best friend... :deal: :deal: :deal:

what this rig was built for...

getting on puppy reservation lists.. fug yeah... :woot: :saweet: that's what this rig was about from the beginning... you think the tubebed is neat, wait till you see the kennel!!!!! :pimp:

on a less important, actual work note... the 3rd drawer will be in tomorrow morn... yawn...

#3 done.....

now it's on to mocking up/fabbing the doghouse.. stoked for this project... I think it's really gonna add to the bed tremendously....

Awesome buddy! Big thumbs up for you and the pooch!

tanks mang! :D I know getting a dog isn't a big deal to most, but it's a HUGE thing for me... so anxious...

the breeder I've been talking to says she's looking to do a fall litter, so my timing could be right on the money for x-mas....

here's a pic of the champion dad she's gonna use.....

I love the black face shepherds...they look more "mean"...is that the right word?

I think it just makes them look more masculine...

like with Rott's, the girl's are very pretty and tend to have more mahoghany... whereas the males tend to have a bit blockier head shape and more black...

thanks bud... :D

so here's a bit of a description of what I'm gonna be doing here...

here's how the tank will be under the doghouse..... basically the same, but 6" shorter.... should be in the 70 to 75 gallon range...

doghouse_zps3achfcsg.jpg

the top flat piece of the doghouse will be removable so I can access the fill hose (which will need to be disconnected should I ever want to remove the doghouse), pickup assembly, sender, etc...

the fuel hoses will run down the front of the tank, between the tank and doghouse....

and the previously posted gas fill door.... basically it'll have a 2' hose going from that fill to the opposite side to a fill fitting on top of the tank...

Is there a way to put a filler on each side? That would sure come in handy sometimes.
