SUPER SEALER trailer build . . TANKER trailer's and now service bed ....

Little fun / work in the shop today . Made 1 of them hip trailers with a 11" rake to the back for the carolina squat . . Then fixed it real quick to this point .

Just waiting for monday to hit up the local trailer place for fenders premade @ $165.00 each from tread plate . Other lesser grade fenders are 200-up range .

Once fenders are on and lights mounted she just needs paint . And few little tank related items . Then she is ready for action .

Took a trip to the local PJ trailer dealer and got 2 pair of fenders .

This red tanker trailer is getting 5-6 inch cut out of the fender center and shorten them up cause there so long for this trailer .

Did a 3.5" thick block between the tire to fender and same in rear and got a almost 7" gap extra . Also the extra over hang gets the fender way past the tail of the trailer .

Fender mounts all done both sides . Added a back side center point .

Next was plasma cut out for the 6" oval brake / tail lights . Used my 911 motor sports template and made the job stupid easy and perfect cut .

Added a pair of foot steps to help hop up top for fill ups . And bent up 2 grab handles for climbing up .

Figured out the wires for the brake away kit i got since i pulled the BIG battery it had for when it was a dump .

Waiting on the lights to show up and then time for some paint to make it all black .

Waiting for lights for both and warmer temps to paint them black . So started tanker #2 trailer build and planned this one out a bit more than winging it as much .

Pair of torsion axles and brakes on both . 4" c-channel for frame . Just making a copy of tanker #1 trailer i just did . But will be 1ft wider as the axles are wider is all . Will help with stability towing tho . 525 gal tank on this one .

BIG JUMP LAST 4HR'S .....

Fitting this job in between other things .

Cut most of the frame last night . Squared up and welded today . Cut the 2 main crossmembers the tank will sit on and burned in . Set the tounge angles and burned in . Welded the 2-5/16 coupler mount on . Burned in the safety chain mounts . Made the gussets fot coupler mount area .

Just need 4 mounts for axles and burn them in and its ready to flip over and should be no bottom / upside down welding required . Then mount fenders and 4 new tires and wire it and paint BLACK .

Then off to NYSDMV to get a VIN# on it and go to work .

All 3 together for the first time . Almost ready for paint and done ready for service .

Swapped the bulldog jack for this fulton drop leg jack .

Then someone just had to go buy another tank today :doah: . . 300 gal and few seasons old . Needs a little refresh and clean out . This will replace our old everyday 250 gal tank thats 40+ years old and beyond fixing anymore . It will get mounted on the new work truck when ready .

Then tonight i started a suspension re-fresh on the red frame trailer .

Gamble paid off today with a little hiccup but easy fix .

Joe got 7 bucket out of this new to us tank . But he was only able to get it clean after we cut a bigger hole in the top .

Someone had a dumb idea to install this 15" dia lid cap unit . But unless your a tooth pick you cant get inside cause your shoulders are wider than that. And trying to fill the tank threw the smaller service cap is a p.i.t.a .

So we cut a hole in the top to make it more like a reg sealer tank lid . Just need to whip one up quick is all .

new every day tank got the bearing removed . Seals blown out and leaking sealer . New on the way for install . had to cut and split them off . And someone figured lets weld the handle on . . Had to cut off to change bearing . Will make it removable.

Then i did a day trip for a SMOKIN GOOD DEAL on a light used CM flatbed for the new sealer truck .
