Cool, thanks guys. I'll check it out and see what I come up with. I wanna try and get something before Rausch Creek.

I have already burnt through an entire 11lb spool of wire with mine just on the K30 !! You will be amazed by how many things you have to weld that you never realized, once you own a welder

you will seriously love having it.
I am gonna start looking for a bottle for it, and after this weekend I am going to pull all the carpet and stuff out of the truck to see how bad the rust is...

I've always taken measurements then loosen all of them, then jacked up one side at a time and installed new parts, tighten loosely, do the other side, check measurements and re tighten
On the 14, are you looking to go 8 lug or trying to find a 6 lug SF ?

Ok, thanks.
Depends if I can find a matching set, but then if its 8 lug I'll need to get new wheels. Which really isn't a big deal, but if it's one axle I could always get the outers from an 8 lug 10 bolt![]()
............

What gears do you have now, and are you looking to change or stay the same? I'm just asking because I "think" I may know where there is a 6 lug SF 14 bolt (at a local pick n pull) and if not I think there is a guy in MD selling a 14/60 combo (from a K30)............

If your gona wheel rocks brian, you may as well go big or go home....
No literally you will have to go home to fix all the broken parts all the time....![]()

I would recommend the 1" body lift. I would also recommend throwing in new body mounts while at it. I got a kit from LMC that came with the mounts themselves, and all of the hardware when I did my Suburban.

What people MEAN to say, is that wheeling is more fun with a D60,
cuz you don't really need to worry about it.
Just wail on it.
