Swettysblazer's 1991 K5 Trazer: ONE TONS!

Por 15 ....... keep it off the hootus.

So going trazer then. Here's my ideas to keep it nice.

Ditch the rockers. Weld in tube for sliders. Also make it a unibody. Sliders welded to the cab and mounted on the frame. 3 big reasons for this. Maximum clearance. Gives a great mounting spot for a hoop behind the cab. Makes the frame less wet noodle. Cause your adding a whole extra framework.

I would add steel, say 1/8 right behind the door. Get your hoop close enough and no need to go around the corner.

The front fenders are much harder to protect. If you wanna keep em just get spares

To keep it a blazer it would need a new body at this point. It's way worse than it looks.

Nobody is going to get seriously into it until you get the damn saws all out :popcorn:
