I have the opposite issue with my fuel tank on the crew cab. It sucks a crazy amount because it's a 6.5.
Tell us your diesel sucks really doesn't help Greg.

Full exhaust should fix itI think your cooking the fuel system somewhere too.
This was my thought. Any holes in the exhaust or tailpipe passing too close to the tank?I think your cooking the fuel system somewhere too.
he does have a 'minor' hole right at the back of his muffler. I think it's about 3" in size. This was my thought. Any holes in the exhaust or tailpipe passing too close to the tank?

More like right at the back of the cat... No muffler present, or the rest of the system for that matter.

You just need to get the exhaust to the end of the truck so it doesn't dump under the truck which is where the tank is.So where exactly is the vapor cannister purge valve?
My head hurts today. Can't really get out there to look for it

It really is that simple.
I had the same thing with my k5.
Stop worrying about the other stuff, the tank is getting cooked directly.
It's not the lines, it's not the purge tank, it's the gas tank.
Stop ignoring the elephant in the room
I'll take the under.I give 3 days before that meets your shin.
