That's exactly how it is here too.Here you only need to do vin inspection when you first register if its from out of state then you don't need vehicle or emissions or any kind of inspection. Barely any lift laws or stuff like that here either. Really cheap too. Cant remember off hand. I'll be doing my '81 1 ton as soon as I get the title from PO and also my blazer over from Utah cuz it expires this month.
