Weight cert from anywhere in particular? I might be under 5K with rollers on it.
Doubt it. My K10 was 4700 in stock trim. Yours is a two cased pig now

Yeah those Cat scales are all certified and they have guarantees for trucks going thru weigh stations so they should be reliable weights.
 
Here you only need to do vin inspection when you first register if its from out of state then you don't need vehicle or emissions or any kind of inspection. Barely any lift laws or stuff like that here either. Really cheap too. Cant remember off hand. I'll be doing my '81 1 ton as soon as I get the title from PO and also my blazer over from Utah cuz it expires this month.

That's exactly how it is here too.
 
Are you going to try and setup the tank selector valve?
Im having that thought.

Probably set the fuel system up as is to confirm everything is cool, try the switch and see. Functional tank switch would be nice
